The Pride Boxing Gym Waiver and Release of Liability
1. Assumption of Risk
I, the undersigned, acknowledge that engaging in boxing, fitness training, and related activities at The Pride Boxing Gym (“the Gym”) involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, physical injuries, muscle strains, fractures, concussions, and other serious injuries that could result in permanent disability or death. I voluntarily choose to participate in these activities and assume all risks associated with my involvement.
2. Medical Clearance
I confirm that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in activities at the Gym. I have consulted with my healthcare provider and am cleared to participate in vigorous physical activities, including boxing and high-intensity interval training. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my own health and consult a healthcare provider if I experience any adverse symptoms.
3. Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at The Pride Boxing Gym, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Gym, its owners, managers, trainers, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising from any damages, injury, or loss, including personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, that I may sustain as a result of participating in any activity at the Gym.
4. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pride Boxing Gym and its affiliates from any claims, demands, or damages arising from my participation or any actions taken by me within the facility. This indemnification includes costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by the Gym in defense of any claims arising from my actions.
5. Photography and Media Release
I consent to the Gym’s use of any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during my participation for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes. I understand that I will not receive any compensation for such use.
6. Rules and Regulations
I agree to follow all rules, policies, and regulations set forth by The Pride Boxing Gym, including instructions provided by trainers and staff. I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in the termination of my membership or participation privileges without refund. Membership will activate the date of payment, unless requested otherwise.
7. Minor Participants (If Applicable)
If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign below. By signing, the parent/guardian agrees to the terms of this waiver on behalf of the minor and assumes all responsibility for the minor’s participation, including the risk of injury.
8. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have carefully read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I voluntarily agree to its terms, understanding that by signing, I am waiving significant legal rights.
